{Recipe} Turmeric Vanilla Post-Workout Power Smoothie

I’ve really been enjoying this powerful post-workout smoothie. I’ve taken turmeric supplements in the past but am always looking for way to go straight up through food.

Turmeric has a pretty powerful taste which can be overpowering for some. This smoothie does a good job integrating the taste of the turmeric so it’s noticeable but not unbearable (unless you have a super sensitive pallet).

The black pepper is important to help improve your body use and absorb the benefits of turmeric, for which there are many. It’s this wide range of benefits that makes the turmeric the star of this smoothie show.

Recipe

1 Frozen Banana

1 1/2 Cups Flax Milk

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1 Teaspoon Turmeric

A pinch of black pepper

A little ice if there’s room

 

Blend it all together y’all and feel fabulous AF.
